Woo. Another day, another game beaten. What game was defeated today? Silent Hill 2, the sequel to the original master in horror. I must say, I was dissapointed.. while the second one was just running around without direction most of the game, the first was just.. just "Holy crapa'! There's a zombie! POW, bi-atch!", or something to that effect. The plot was pretty good.. just as solid as the first. Another great thing about it.. a board with a nail in it. I must say it again, just to fully relay the importance.. a board ... with a nail.. through it. If that wasn't made for zombie-deconstruction, I don't know what was.
Another interesting game completed was Running With Scissor's 'Postal 2'. I must say, I was expecting something disspointing.. but not so much! This game carried some of my type of humor with it.. a sign in the mall reading 'Factory Refurbished Kittens - $3.00/lbs.". C'mon. That's just beautiful. The game also has my favorite combat combo - kicking them square in the ass.. while DECAPITATING THEM WITH A SHOVEL. Hoo haw.
One more geek thing.. a game has officially placed itself in my number 1 slot - somehow replacing Half-Life. This game could only be System Shock 2. Made in the same year as HL, it combines the strategical elements of the common RPG game, with the fast-thinking chaos of a first person shooter. Mix all this with a brilliant plot, and you have one god-awesome game. I cried when I beat it.
Here's the latest side comic..
